Tim Plouff has written about cars for more than 3 decades. His column, On The Road Review, has appeared in The Ellsworth American for over 31-years as well as other Maine newspapers including the Mt. Desert Islander, The Mid-Coast Villager, and the Portland Press Herald. In addition to his love of automobiles, he is an avid powerboater, and explores the hundreds of public-access islands on the Maine Coast. He and his wife have lived at Beech Hill Pond near Acadia National Park for 43-years. They currently have five cars and trucks in their garage, including an '08 Mercedes and a '16 Mustang GT/CS convertible—plus a boat and a John Deere.
